Steven M Ono

Guitarist Steve Ono loves the jazz, folk, rock, funk, blues, country and world music he has learned over a fifty year professional career. He is able to play all guitar-like instruments. He is a singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, producer and a guitar teacher with forty years of experience. In 1991 he began teaching guitar full time at a local music store and the first of these books were created.

Steve Ono attended the Guitar Institute of Technology, GIT, in Hollywood in 1979. At the time it was run by Tommy Tedesco, the Wrecking Crew guitarist extraordinaire. After one year at GIT Steve spent the next decade gigging and doing studio work. Steve Ono continues to gig and record. And he teaches at Roosevelt School of the Arts FUSD at the Fresno Music Academy and Arts in Fresno, Ca.
