Paul Holt is a Christian communicator and Founder of ‘tools4disciples.’ He is the author of ‘Prayer: God’s Invitation to Relationship.’
The Bishop of Liverpool, England, described Paul’s latest book as “well worth a read – an accessible and thought-provoking book to encourage people to develop their relationship with God.”
Paul is a reflective follower of Jesus Christ, an experienced counsellor and church leader. As a pastoral theologian, he believes that God encounters people where faith and experience intersect, and it is in this place that authentic discipleship begins. From this perspective, he recognises a need for focused, clear and topical tools to help people maintain their connection with God, and has added distinctive teachings, talks and articles to other resources available. This book, in turn, provides tools for building and maintaining a prayer life as a mainstay of a relationship with God.
Paul studied in the UK, gaining an Honours degree in theology from Durham University and a Masters in Social Science from Birmingham. He trained for the Anglican ministry in Cambridge and later undertook certificated training in psychotherapy.
Paul lives and works from his home in the north of England, and splits his time between family, writing, podcasting and dog walking. He loves vintage transport, cooking curry and playing the bassoon.
