Annabel Potter

Annabel Potter lives in Devon in the UK and has always loved art, setting up Animal Glass Designs in 2012. She is passionate about wildlife and paints predominately animals and nature.

With a degree in Environmental Science she has written educational poems to help explain scientific concepts. The idea inspired by a poem she was given by a biology teacher many years ago to help remember osmosis!

Initially Annabel worked in a variety of different jobs not related to her degree. Her first book was an Animal Alphabet Colouring book published in 2018. The Butterfly Cycle for 1-5 year olds is the first in her poetry series and the latest is on Gravity and Force for ages 7-11.

With more to follow for different ages, I hope these illustrated poems will inspire and help children to learn about the natural world.

In response to coronavirus and lockdown in 2020 Annabel has also done some podcasts to accompany her books.
