For years Eissmann Buccella had a passion for poetry, art and architecture. It was while working toward a Fine Arts degree in Interior Architecture, that she took a detour when realizing that it was the illustration part of the courses that she most enjoyed.
Within the last six years she has written and illustrated six Children's Books, a book of poetry, and a historical fiction novella.
Nine years ago, she opened an online shop where she creates renderings of pets, people, and architecture. Inga has created nearly a thousand custom portraits of pets. Cats, dogs, hamsters and even the occasional lizard rendering is ordered. But recently when she was commissioned to create an illustration of a pet pig, a story began weaving into this piggie's tale.
Pignoli the Pig, written in 2022, is the author/illustrator's first book about a pig, who lives with his family, high in the hills of Italy.
***** Review from Readers' Favorite - Pikasho Deka
"A fun-filled adventure book that teaches the value of sharing and taking responsibility, Pignoli the Pig is an entertaining read that kids of all ages will love. Author Inga Eissmann Buccella crafts a memorable and heartwarming tale that invigorates the reader's imagination and instills in them the principles of self-reliance. The illustrations complementing the writing add to the worldbuilding, making the story all the more immersive and enjoyable to read. All the characters are immensely likable. Pignoli is a youngling who grows up a bit pampered and privileged, but comes through on his own after witnessing his family's needs. His growth was one of my favorite aspects of the story. Recommended to children and parents alike."

***** ..."Inga Buccella's chapbook, Mementos: Seasons in Verse, is a collection of poignant poems reflecting on the seasons of life as they parallel the seasons of the year. Free verse, narrative poems, and a few rhyming poems, this collection speaks of the depths of our feelings for those we have loved and lost, for a life well lived and what is left behind. Some of the emotions expressed are raw, others reflective, but each poem uses words as a painter uses a paintbrush, creating a work of art in verse."... -Emily-Jane Hills Orford of Readers' Favorite
