Glenn is an attorney living in South Carolina. As a former Boy Scout and Eagle Scout, Glenn was re-introduced to camping and hiking when his son joined scouting. As a volunteer scout leader, Glenn serves as Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 2 in Summerville. His love for camping and hiking led him to leave his job as a criminal prosecutor and hit the Appalachian Trail in 2018 hiking 2,190.9 miles from Georgia to Maine.
His first book, "Walking to Maine - A Scoutmaster's Journey on the Appalachian Trail," tells the story of why he wanted to hike the trail, what challenges and experiences he faced on the trail, and finally what he learned during his 145 day trek.
Born and raised in New Jersey he attended and graduated from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina in 1990 and worked in the textile field before going back to law school in 2004 and obtaining his JD. Glenn has been married to his wife Laine since 1991 and they have one son, Joe, also an Eagle Scout.
