Ken Shinn

Ken Shinn is a Bristol-based author living with his two cats. He was introduced to writing fiction for publication by Joanne Hall and Roz Clarke for the anthology Airship Shape & Bristol Fashion, and following this he was asked to submit short horror fiction for the anthologies Tales Of The Damned, Killler Bees From Outer Space, Weird Ales Volume One, Mummy Knows Best, The Dark Half Of The Year and Tales From The Graveyard. He's a big fan of fantasy in all of its forms, and has also submiitted material for the Dr Who-related books A Time Lord For Change, You And Who Else, Whoblique Strategies, and The UNIT Fannual 1974. More of his work is due to appear in the upcoming Me And The Starman (a celebration of David Bowie), 'Tis Magic (a celebration of Catweazle) and You On Target (a celebration of Target's Dr Who novelisations). He's also submitted articles and reviews to the We Are Cult website, the Dr Who Appreciation Society publication Celestial Toyroom, and the books The Screaming Sixties: British Horror Films Of The 1960s and Dead Or Alive: British Horror Films, 1980-1989. He is currently working on the publication of his first novel, and also on further short stories.
