Henriette Ivanans

Henriette Ivanans is the author of The Pillness Trilogy: "In Pillness and in Health," "Big G and Me," and "Are You There, Judy Blume? It's Me, Henriette." "In Pillness and in Health" is available in Spain as "Hasta Que Las Pastillas Nos Separen (O No)."

Ivanans is a two-time kidney-transplanted, sober woman and occasional actor. She lives in Winnipeg with her living donor and mensch, Kevin, and their dog Jack. She will interrupt you mid-sentence if she sees a dog.

She is currently working on her new book, "Dog-Shaped Hole: What My Dogs Taught Me About Alcoholism."
