Jynean Elyse Chandler, B.A., D.Min., Th.D.

Dr. Jynean E. Chandler has been a licensed Evangelist Missionary through the Church of God in Christ for over 45 years. She served as District Missionary for the Inspirational District of the Agape Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, (Detroit, Michigan) Church of God in Christ from 2012- 2015.

She graduated from Mumford High School (Detroit, Michigan) in 1969 and later from Sawyer School of Business (Centerline, Michigan) in 1974, earning a degree in Steno-Prep. In 2000, she graduated from Logo’s Christian College & Graduate Schools (Detroit, Michigan), earning a double major, obtaining her Associates & Bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling and Christian Education.

In 2010 she graduated from Liberty University (Lynchburg, Virginia) earning a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. In 2012 she attended Next Dimension University, (Rancho Cucamonga, CA), where she earned a Doctorate of Ministry (D.Min.) degree and later her Doctorate of Theology (Th.D.) in 2013.

Dr. Jynean E. Chandler has served as the Chancellor of the Bible & Training Institute of Michigan for seventeen years. The Bible & Training Institute not only offers courses to lay men and women who wish to further their Christian education by obtaining Certificates, and Diplomas in religious studies. The Institute also offers a course of study entitled the “Ministers and Missionaries Auxiliary Awareness Institute” (MMAAI) where men and women are trained and prepared to obtain their ministerial licensing within the Church of God in Christ through the Agape Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, as well as working with other aggregations for ministerial training and credentialing.

She is also the Dean of the Agape Ecclesiastical Jurisdictional Workshops, where God has given her the privilege to write all of the lessons as well as organize the workshops for the men and women’s classes during the Holy Convocation, Worker’s Meetings and the Women’s Conventions.

She is a Gospel Playwright and has written several musical dramas. She is a Puppeteer and created a puppet production company called, “The POPs” (Puppets of Praise). She is a Christian writer/author, publishing the following books: “Daily Devotionals for Everyday Christian Living Workbook,” and children’s book entitled, “The Handiwork of God.” She is also in the process of publishing her first novel entitled, “Too Late.”

In February, 2015 she became a 1st Lady assisting her husband in their new ministry at Fellowship Chapel Ministries Church of God in Christ, Detroit, Michigan. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
