Cathy Rogers wrote Amazon #1 Best Seller cruise book 'The Confident portExplorer - everything you need to know about going ashore on a cruise' in 2018, bringing together everything she had learned over 20 years of cruising and 30+ cruises.

Cathys love of being organised led to 'The Cruise Planner' which was published the following summer. Cruise lovers, who rapidly took to using a separate planner for each cruise they had booked, requested alternate cover designs to help them immediately see which was which! Today, as well as the pink and purple sunset cover design which complements 'The Confident portExplorer', there are are five different planner covers to choose from!

The portExplore 'Cruise Notebooks' came about during lockdown as a way to keep a little bit of cruise fun in our lives while we were all stranded ashore - Amazon Prime free postage meant that these became the perfect way to send a friend a little ‘stay cheerful’ gift, without breaking the bank. The original soft back lined notebooks have a set of new cover designs and are now joined by 'Dot Matrix' Grid versions for bullet point planning and a brand new hardback 'Travel Journal' published in February 2022.

As well as running the Cruise Addicted group with photographer Emma Watts, Cathy has a large online following which includes her Cruise Addicted Blog, the portExplore and Cruise Addicted Facebook pages and groups, a popular Instagram stream and a new Podcast launching in Spring 2022. This follows her successful weekly Destination Based chats on Clubhouse for the Cruise Atrium Group. Cathy writes regularly Holiday and Cruise Magazine and Cruise Addicts Magazine and has featured on BBC Breakfast News and on BBC Radio Solent talking about Cruises and Cruising.

The 'Mini-Cruise Planner' and 'The Alaskan Cruise Planner' are due for publication later in Summer 2022, as is 'A Cruise Virgins Handbook - the complete guide to cruising for beginners.’
