I helped found Presbyterians for Faith, Family and Ministry (PFFM) in 1995 and served as its executive director until 2014. I edited PFFM's bimonthly publication "Theology Matters" that went to over fifteen thousand individuals and congregations.
After receiving a Master of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN, I was ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1997. I pastored several congregations in Virginia. I left the Presbyterian Church (USA) after it changed its constitution to endorse sexual expression outside of the marriage of a man and woman.
I've authored articles for various journals, magazines, and websites dealing with biblical truth and its intersection with cultural norms.
