Simon Rickards

I was born in Gloucestershire and have a younger brother. As my father was in the RAF we moved around the UK and Germany extensively in my youth.

In my adult years I have lived in the Midlands, London and around Gloucestershire primarily. I've worked in various roles, mostly in IT, but also in music management and promotion. I've suffered a number of mental health issues, most acutely with borderline personality disorder and anorexia.

I recently released my book, 'Wolves. Battles. Bakes.' detailing my battle with these conditions, my passion for Wolverhampton Wanderers and baking. A strange combination I know, but it needs to be read to be understood. The tale is one of hope & of imparting understanding - at least that's the intent. It also has a load of my recipes as a bonus!
