Jackie Phillips

Jackie Phillips (Carol Jackson Phillips) – 1944 –

At the age of 30, after shattering her leg in a skiing accident, a doctor told Jackie that she would never run again. Angry at being told what she could not do, she worked through extensive physical therapy and began running. She has completed many races including 4 marathons.

Jackie is an accomplished author, speaker, athlete and optimal health coach. She is the founder of Phillips Wellness Enterprises and is a dynamic, upbeat speaker in the areas of wellness, self-esteem, and faith. Formerly she has been a classroom teacher, National Vice President of Sigma Kappa Sorority, and the owner of a California swim school. Currently, she teaches classes in wellness at the local community college and actively promotes her wellness business.

Jackie holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Miami University in Oxford Ohio and a master's degree in health physical education and recreation from Purdue University.
