Dan Brigman

I have lived in Missouri my entire life.

Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my focus, yet I've published in the field of history. I love writing stories which speak to humanity's essential relationship with nature. Throughout my adventures, magic, technology, and intellect are used to overcome challenges, unite devastated nations, or to restore separated families.

When I'm not writing I serve as a Deputy Regional Director. I hold a 5th Degree blackbelt in the art of Okinawa Shorin Ryu Karate Do. I further the art by teaching.

Current Projects: The Blighter’s Shadow (epic fantasy) and Adalaj (sci-fi).

Published Works: The Alterator’s Light, The Point of Woes, and The Tower of Dread, as well as in short story anthologies.

The Writers of Warrensburg is an excellent place to join with other fellow writers and writing enthusiasts to share on-going work, learn skills to hone writing, and to have fun with other local writers.
