Torie Borrelli Hall is a Functional and Integrative Nutritionist, Certified Holistic Nutritionist, author, and founder of The Vida Well. For more than 16 years, she has worked in the health and wellness space, helping women and families uncover the root causes behind chronic symptoms and build healthier lives through nutrition, functional testing, and individualized support.
Torie earned her degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a focus in science and a minor in Nutrition, and continued her education at Bauman College, where she became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.
Her work takes a whole-body approach to health, looking beyond symptoms to understand the interconnected roles of nutrition, blood sugar, gut health, hormones, thyroid function, environmental exposures, stress, sleep, and lifestyle. She specializes in fertility and preconception, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, hormone and thyroid health, digestive health, metabolic health, autoimmune conditions, and supporting families with children's nutrition.
Through The Vida Well, Torie works one-on-one with clients using comprehensive bloodwork, functional testing, health history, symptoms, and lifestyle to create highly personalized nutrition and wellness protocols. Her goal is to make complex health information understandable and give clients clear, realistic steps they can actually implement in everyday life.
Torie is also the author of *The Mexican Keto Cookbook* and *Eating for Life: A Holistic Cookbook for Pregnancy and a Thriving Family*. Her newest cookbook grew out of her own journey through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood and reflects more than three years of research, writing, cooking, and raising a young family.
*Eating for Life* brings Torie's clinical nutrition philosophy into the kitchen through 120 nutrient-dense recipes designed to nourish women and families through different seasons of life. Rather than focusing on restriction or complicated food rules, Torie teaches people how to build meals around high-quality protein and nutrient-rich traditional foods—including eggs, seafood, meat, dairy, broths, and other whole foods—to help fill common nutritional gaps while still making food that tastes incredible.
As a mother of two, Torie understands that nutrition has to work outside of a textbook. Her philosophy is rooted in making nourishing food achievable for real families: cook once and use ingredients in multiple ways, prioritize the nutrients that matter most, expose children to a wide variety of foods, and create meals the entire family can eat together.
Whether she is working with a client, developing a recipe, or educating her community, Torie's mission is the same: to help people better understand their bodies, get to the root of what is holding them back, and use food and nutrition as powerful tools for lifelong health.
