Jonni Redick

Jonni Redick was with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) for 29 years, an organization with over 11,000 employees. She retired as an Assistant Chief and worked in both the Bay Area, covering all nine counties, and within the Sacramento region where she oversaw eight CHP commands including the 3rd largest communications center in the state which handles over one million 911 calls annually. Over her career, she has worked throughout California and been incident commander for multiple critical incidents, civil disturbances, mutual aid events, and other high-profile tactical incidents. Her training and instructional background includes work in cultural diversity, procedural justice, implicit bias, and other leadership coursework. For over a decade, she instructed first line supervisors, managers and command staff for her organization in over 20 subject matter areas. She is a certified California State Personnel Board Chairperson and has participated both as a chairperson, subject matter representative on promotional examination oral interview panels and in the development of examinations.

In addition, her business, JLConsulting Solutions (JLCS), LLC, cultivates relationships to strengthen the trust quotient and identify intrinsic intangibles within individual and organizational leadership paradigms. Through her coaching, consulting and training, she culminates a succession of skills and strategies essential for resiliency in both the individual professional and the organization.

She is a graduate of California Peace Officer Standard and Training (POST) Command College with course work in Enhanced Leadership; Futures Forecasting and Economic Issues; Politics of Change, and Technological and Environmental Issues. She holds a Master of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership (LEPSL) from the University of San Diego. A past member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Human and Civil Rights Committee, Past President of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) Central Valley California Chapter, and a member of the American Association of University of Women (AAUW).
