My Bio:

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and a Master’s in Education from Christian Brothers University. I’m the CEO & Founder of The Push Through Organization – a non-profit that uses innovative practices to equip, inspire, educate, and empower individuals to overcome adversity and become change agents. An inner-city elementary educator of 10 years, I’ve taught grades K-5 in various locations, such as Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, PA, and Wilmington, DE. I’ve been fortunate to have my teaching style featured in a GAP Kids back to school commercial, as well as various national and international news outlets. The Push Through mantra written in I’m Gonna Push Through! has been adapted into adult and elementary classroom settings across 18 U.S. states, 25 countries, and 5 continents. My goals with The Push Through Organization are to continue to use my voice and gift to spread empowerment and positively impact people around the world.
