Fred Ash is a Canadian writer, a former elementary school teacher, a magazine editor, and church pastor. He has written hundreds of published articles and is the recipient of literary awards from the Canadian Church Press. He has earned two bachelors degrees (BA and BEd) from Memorial University, in St. John’s Newfoundland, and a master’s degree (MDiv) from Tyndale University in Toronto, Ontario. In retirement he lives in Calgary, Alberta, with his wife, Shirley, and uses his literary skills to write children's stories and inpirational books for adults.
