Pat Burton

I am a far cry from your traditional novelist. After earning a degree in biology from the University of Louisville in 2007, I spent a year and a half in medical school before deciding it wasn't the right fit for me as a career. A year later, I found myself in the classroom, and I haven't looked back. My day job is teaching science at Mercy Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, and I write whenever and wherever I can find the time. My wife and I live in Jeffersonville, Indiana with our daughter, son, and Boston terrier, Samson.
