Hari Panicker

Hi,

I am Hari Panicker, Illustrator, Graphic Designer and one half of the paper cut art duo Hari & Deepti. Together we specialize in hand-cut paper and light dioramas (a style we have developed and perfected for the past 9 years) as a medium of storytelling.

Collectively, we have shown and exhibited our works all around the world from Taiwan to Oslo to the US, and this is our first venture in the Children's book domain.

Storytelling has always been a big part of our art and The Seekers is our debut picture book. It explores the theme of co-existence (a theme recurrent in our work), respect for nature and the consequences of exploiting its resources.

When I am not working, I am usually brewing and drinking copious amounts of coffee, collecting toys & beer labels, planning our next travel (which revolves around coffee) and on every alternate weekend glued to the screen watching Formula 1.
