Stuthi Iyer

Stuthi Iyer is a young poet with awarded pieces by Scholastic. She has prior work in the Teen Ink and Creative Communications magazines, as well as many school publications. As her first novel, co-edited and published by her mother, she hopes to impart her journey from childhood to teenage years.

A recent graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, she will be attending the University of Pittsburgh for the next eight years.

She lives in Virginia with her inspiring parents, vivacious sister, and energetic dog. When she’s not writing, she works as a STEAM advocate, conducting neuroscience research, engaging underserved elementary school children, and giving back to local hospitals. On the leisurely side, she is a Bharatanatyam dancer, a foodie, and a lifelong Girl Scout. She loves traveling, swimming, hiking, sudoku, reading, and most of all, hanging out with her family and friends.
