Katie O'Connell

Katie O'Connell is a young professional about to make a dent in the universe. Her mission is to connect passionate people to create human-centric experiences. She became curious about building community during her junior year of college when she founded JesNET, a social travel network. As she explored the idea of community, she longed to reconnect with the music community which had been a big part of her identity as a high school choir nerd and concert junkie. In college, she attended her first Sofar Sounds show and also was asked to make a guest appearance in her friend’s band. This series of events provided her with a much-needed release and clarity to once again prioritize music in her life. The creation process of Live LIVE! was a personal journey, experiment in entrepreneurship, and a means to write music back into her story. Through her journey, she developed a recipe for space in which she can Live LIVE! and offers a recipe for others to do the same, not only in musical experiences, but also in any community experiences.
