Alain BEC

Alain Bec was born on 13 March 1955. Hiking is one of his passions. He has walked many paths in Europe, notably in France (tour of the Beaufortain, the volcanoes of Auvergne, via Tolosana, the Vezelay route...), in Spain (camino del Norte, camino Frances, via de la plata, camino primitivo, tour of Menorca...) and in Portugal (camino de la costa and camino central). He recounts each of his great hikes in text and images on a blog: http://alainbec.canalblog.com/.

In 2017, he decided to take the Way of Saint Olav in Norway, which starts in Oslo and ends in Trondheim. He will be one of the first Frenchmen to cover the entire route in one go. This 643 km long road crosses Norway from south to north.

Little did he know that this long hike would open the doors of a fascinating adventure that he tells in his first book
