CEO and Founder of Novel Chick Publications, TJ Taylor is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. who fell in love with reading well before she made her highly anticipated appearance in kindergarten. Discovering a natural knack for writing early on, she penned her first poem in sixth grade. Amassing several notebooks of poetry sparked her interest in penning romance short stories, ultimately leading her, under the pen name Tysha Jordyn, to take a leap of faith in becoming a published author of romance novels-- the first of which is in current development for short film production.
Twenty-eight books later and after becoming a certified life coach, TJ Taylor ventured into a new genre in publishing her first nonfiction work, Oh, You Call Yourself Her Sister?
Extending her lifelong commitment to philanthropy, a portion of all proceeds from all current and future nonfiction projects will go to support TJ Taylor’s emerging nonprofit, Heroines with Heart (501(c)(3) pending), which has a mission to support community initiatives focusing on youth empowerment, higher education scholarships, and youth athletic endeavors to fight childhood obesity.
