Ernest Michael DeZolt

Ernest Michael DeZolt (1954- Present) was born in Ashtabula, Ohio. There he spent his childhood and adolescence. After graduating from high school, he worked as a laborer for a number of years before entering the Academy. His university efforts culminated in1991 when he received his Ph.D. from Kent State University. He has taught for the past thirty years at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.

An Inheritance of Promise is his first published work in creative non-fiction. His follow-up project, Mended Fences: Narratives on Love, Loss and Acceptance examines the influences of culture in defining and reacting to life circumstances.
