Oliver Page

I was born in Suffolk in 1990, surrounded by countryside, community and curious country smells. After eighteen wonderful years, I left the East of England to study in Nottingham, spending my second year of university in the tropics of Malaysia. That year changed my life, and made me realise just how mammoth the world is. After graduating, I spent some time in Africa and South America. When I returned home, I moved to London and found myself a job.

I started writing a few years ago, after a group of my closest mates formed a monthly book club. It was during these monthly catch ups that I began to fully appreciate the sheer power of the written word. Inspired by the range of literature which lay before me, I decided it was time to test my creativity. From that moment on, my commutes to and from work were filled with jotting down storylines and punctuating speech. Some people play games on their commutes, whilst others catch up with their emails; I decided I’d write a book instead. Two years later, my first novel, Atlantic Rock, was discussed by the very book club that inspired me to write it!

My latest novel, The Pigeon Hole, is a neoteric take on the classic crime thriller. It's a bit of a different approach to writing, but an interesting one, nonetheless.
