My name is Annie Mae Flood. I was born in Terrell County Georgia. I am the sixth child of twelve children. There were seven girls and four boys. These twelve children were born to Mrs. Freddie Mae Flood. My mother moved to Albany, Georgia when I was five years old. Later in life I got married and birthed five children. Three boys and two girls.
A lot of my siblings are deceased. I have four brothers and two sisters who are deceased. My mother passed ten years ago. She lived to be 90 years old. My father passed thirty years before she did.
I graduated from Monroe High School. I earned a BS degree in ECE Early Childhood Education. Also I earned a MBA in ECE.
I taught school for twenty years. Later on I retired. During the retirement process, I decided to become an author. The first book I publish was "Behind The Walls of A College and The Early Years of Teaching School”. The others are as follow.
