Alice Seidel

Alice Seidel was born in New Jersey and after living in New England and Pennsylvania has returned once again to be close to family. Her life has been filled with friends, pets, homes and most of all family which makes it all so worthwhile. In 2018, Alice was diagnosed with Stage 2 muscle-invasive bladder cancer which brought most of everything to a crashing halt.

In addition to Candle Reflections, An Illuminated Life which was published in 2009, Alice has a brand new insightful memoir, titled Behold This Heart, A Cancer Journey With Jesus and Mary in the Season of Advent. There is much to learn in this thoughtful book and how even suffering can have its purpose. As a lifelong Catholic, Alice shares with you how her faith has proved golden even in the worst of times.

The author is involved in many things every day -- from pet care, crafting, knitting, cooking but especially writing, life holds many possibilities every time the sun comes up.
