Samir Satam

Samir Satam is a poet, author and a photographer (Instagram handle: @humminglens). His first collection of poems 'Postcards From Memory' was published in 2014, followed by 'The Camphor of Night' (2019), which received wide acclaim. His third book 'Rhythm of Remembrance' (2020) has been enjoying rave reviews from readers as well as in literary circles. His fourth book 'Litost: Sliced Stories' (2021) is a collection of short stories which has been garnering praise worldwide for its lyrically composed prose.

Samir Satam is an avid reader and a film connoisseur who believes that the spirit of cinema traverses boundaries of languages they are made in. He is also a traveler who is always keen on trying local delicacies (Instagram handle: @gourmetamorous).

Samir Satam also works as a content curator with 'Kaafiya - The Poetry Festival', and is actively involved in the literary movement that aims at bringing poetry to mainstream readership.
