Michael Green is an American fantasy and science fiction novelist. His debut series, Tales from the Netherscape, explores one boy's descent into a dangerous and fantastic underworld, and his friends' valiant efforts to save him.

The Lost Children series explores a future where our past has been erased, where people search in dumps for old street signs to name themselves after. With most of the action set on Planet Four (Mars) we're struck with a stunning smallness as our heroes struggle against natives who go nameless and selfless, and against a Steel Tide of automated machines bent on putting our species in a zoo.

Literary, sanguine, and inspired by history, Green has spent the last ten years traveling the world for his career in antiques, but storytelling has always been his passion. When he isn't writing, he can be found hoisting weighted bars, playing Dungeons and Dragons, or walking his loyal dogs, Theo and Brun.
