Joyce P. Smith is the author of How to Live in Harmony with God, An Everyday Guide of Select Proverbs for Teenagers and Young Adults. This study guide is suitable for use with a group or by an individual. She is also the author of the series From Homeless to Happy (publication pending) a series about homeless pets who found their forever homes told from the point of view of the pets, as well as a new mystery The Chameleon (publication pending).
Ms. Smith is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Arkansas and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Montclair State University. She was an educator for 37 years: teacher, staff development trainer, and high school principal. She won the prestigious 1999 Washington Post Distinguished Educational Leadership Award, the Principal of the Year Award by the Maryland Association of Student Councils (2000), Who’s Who among America’s Teachers (1998 and 2005).
She currently is living in Florida with her husband, David, and one of their rescue pets. She actively participates in church work and substitute teaching.
