Hi, I'm Karen Kent, new author. NO, wait! Don't run! I write a lot of realistic humor, but please read The Portal and the Pendulum to see my attempt at fiction. Scary fiction. No, it's really scary. It's not scary just because I wrote it. I live in Chapel Hill, NC, and when I'm not editing or editing or, I don't know, editing, I love to garden and to go to UNC games with my family (unless you are a Duke fan). I also wrote a humorous novella called Summer of Grace about traveling with my daughter. But that's sitting in a cabinet, waiting for a publisher to come by and ask, "Hey, what's in that drawer? I am in need of a new, humorous novella to read! Got anything for me?" Oh, it'll happen. Thanks! Karen
