Timothy Caison is an artist and former art teacher who has taught 10 years in the Philadelphia School District. As an art teacher, his students showed him the importance of showing positive images to kids of color and how doing so could break stereotypes and inspire.

He creates his books with wisdom from former teachers, students and visionaries. Tim’s books are created to help shine light on the things of the world that are inspiring, admirable, empowering, thought-provoking and honorable to help shape young developing minds.
