Beginning at 14, Brian washed dishes for $15 a night. He worked as a Line Cook, Server, Bartender, Manager and eventually Head Chef of a Manhattan restaurant by 23. He later worked at a New York City recording studio that was shuttered by the 2008 financial crisis. Brian pivoted by launching an audio production business while also professionally bartending full-time at a Private Club.
In 2013, Brian merged his passions, Bartending and Audio Production, creating the educational podcast, Bartender Journey.
He has been featured as a panelist at the legendary industry conference Tales of the Cocktail (“Podcasting for Bartenders”) and as an industry expert on the sites Crafty Bartending (“Industry Pros Give Advice for New Bartenders” and Meet The People (“5
Podcasts Every Bartender Should Be Listening To”).
Brian continues to bartend near his home in Monroe, New York and work on both audio production projects and cocktail consulting projects.
