Kevin was a Real Estate agent before becoming a mortgage loan officer and unfortunately, he had heard about and personally encountered so many “lost deals”; because too many prospective homeowners didn’t speak to a loan officer before shopping for their home. They would go shop for a home, find one they loved, go apply for a mortgage, and many times get denied – because they weren’t properly prepared.

Eventually, he grew so frustrated, he gave up working in real estate to pursue a career in Mortgage Banking. He first got into the mortgage business after the major real estate collapse of 2007 – 2008, right around the time they started requiring mandatory licensing of all Mortgage Loan Officers.

Everyone’s personal and financial circumstances are different and need to be addressed on an individual basis, not some cookie cutter formula to qualify you for a loan (the way over 90% of the typical loan officers today operate). Most importantly, they need to be addressed BEFORE the mortgage application process begins.

Always on the side of the underdog, Kevin tries to get to as many prospective home buyers as possible before they go home shopping. Unfortunately, the market was designed the opposite way: first find a home then go for a mortgage – nothing could be more wrong in his opinion.

Finally, Kevin decided that he was going to make reversing the mortgage application and home buying process a personal mission of his – a one-man crusade to help more families navigate through the correct process - by planning ahead for their home purchase.
