Jeff S. Bray

Jeff has been writing professionally since 2008. His adventure began with a personal blog called “Moments for the Heart.” Blog writing whet his appetite for a professional writing career. He wrote his first published piece about fatherhood for “The Lookout” magazine in 2017. That success opened the door to consistent Freelance work. In 2018, he wrote a series of Children’s books titled Elissa the Curious Snail. All four books are available on most bookseller sites. The Five Barred Gate was his first novel. He followed up the love story, Little Reminders of Who I Am. Both are published through WordCrafts Press. Jeff’s third novel, The Transference, is a crime thriller novel about a serial killer who, when captured, refuses to die. In October 2023, Jeff released a much anticipated third installment to the Little Reminders series.

Jeff’s passion for writing began in the second grade with a short story about a lost kitten. From that little, yellow-bound book he still has today to where he is now, it has been a long road filled with ups and downs and overcoming life’s adversities. He enjoys integrating those experiences with his writing. He also has a passion for serving Christ and plans to use his voice to glorify God. Jeff prays his words touch hearts and lives and give people hope and the desire to pursue their dreams and relationship with our loving Savior.

Jeff lives in a small town in South Central Texas with his wife Carolyn and their daughter, the last of their five children.
