David Ross

Prior to writing children’s books, David Ross spent much of his career teaching English as a New Language (ENL) throughout Asia and in North America. His other interests include gypsy jazz guitar and graphic design. David lives in upstate NY with his wife, two sons, and their sheltie, Cinnamon.

David first began publishing with The Three Hares trilogy, a mythology-based adventure that draws upon the history of the Silk Road.

David's most recent books, Yenta Claus and And Sometimes Y, are both about embracing difference. Yenta Claus rejoices in shared holiday celebrations, And Sometimes Y looks at diversity. It's David's hope that these books will help children deepen their understanding of the ways in which people choose to live.
