"[Amanda] Johnston has crafted a heck of a story complete with slow-burn romance, a war between Heaven and Hell, heroes, queens, kings, and holy vengeance." -Amazon Review, Left In The Dark
Amanda's interest in books began when she was four years old and she discovered ghost stories. From that young age she devoured novels involving "true" or fictional paranormal situations about vampires and ghosts, developing an interest in angels and demonology around the age of twelve.
What was once only intended to be a single, short novella, Left In The Dark became the first book of a trilogy. That trilogy then became a six book series, that then became the nine book Anthem Saga. A tenth book, The Viridian Record, followed, bridging the first nine books with a trilogy, The Seraph Chronicles. Then came The Discord Duology, which leads into The Rue Royale Novels.
Amanda is currently editing books seventeen and eighteen in the Anthemverse while writing the nineteenth, and a sequel to Blackwoods Bend & The Frame Tales is in development.
Amanda lives in Warrior, Alabama with her husband and four daughters. She loves laughing with her babies, listening to her husband's music, fairy lights, and all things spooky.
