E. D. Robson

About E. D. Robson

E. D. Robson writes humorous fantasy and science fiction where dangerous magic, improbable heroics, romance, and human fallibility tend to collide.

His stories feature chaotic witches, overworked sorceresses, alien librarians, reluctant revolutionaries, and ordinary people discovering that the universe is rarely tidy. Beneath the humour, his work explores courage, responsibility, and the complicated business of doing the right thing.

He lives in the English East Midlands, not far from Nottingham of Robin Hood fame, a region with a long tradition of rebellion, folklore, and stories that refuse to behave.

Before writing full-time (retired… probably), he worked in the merchant navy, aviation, policing, corporate training, and psychology. Experience has proved a useful counterweight to imagination.

He now writes, walks, visits museums and galleries for “research,” and occasionally watches television in the interests of narrative study.
