C.N. Ricks

C.N. Ricks, author and poet is a native of Inkster, Michigan. She now resides in Akron, Ohio, with her husband.

Her creative writing skills come to her naturally via way of six younger siblings. They never tired of sitting at her feet while she entertained them with stories plucked right out of her head. To this day, her siblings still remember her stories and tell them to their own children.

After a hard day at work dealing with the public school system, she would come home, kick back, and lose herself in one those darkly romantic thrillers or somebody done some body wrong books that would make her gasp and say, “He or she did what?” These are things she hopes her debut novel “Prey for the April Fool” will do for readers when they just want to sit back and escape.

Beside writing, she enjoys doll collecting and even creating them, crocheting, walking, line dancing and thrifting for antiques She is a member of the Akron’s Writer’s Group.
