Tabitha B. C. Abel

Tabitha B. C. Abel was the youngest of five children born in Wootton, Bedfordshire, England, in 1951. Her parents divorced when she was two but country living gave her a can-do attitude which has enabled her to be active in music, sports and freelance writing alongside careers in nursing and teaching. Much of her adult life has been in the western United States. She has authored numerous articles in Christian and health magazines for youth and adults, devotionals and short stories. The KIDS IN CRISIS trilogy is her first long read about nursing in her favorite specialty –pediatrics. Her children and grandchildren, although geographically spread, remain important to her as are triathlons, hiking, music and more writing projects. Not easily defeated, Tabitha believes that if you want to get something done, ask a busy person. It has worked for her –all too often! Her other mantra is that no one is too old to learn. She hopes that by doing this every day, she will keep herself young!
