G L Jackson

Gareth Jackson has just arrived on the writing scene and the stories just keep coming. In just a short space of time he has released several books spanning multiple genres and he has many more projects in the works.

Like all authors, Gareth Jackson has his own style of writing, sometimes blending rhyming tales for children into much larger novels. This is because he began writing short rhyming tales for his own children, which sparked an idea. He is able to shape and sculpt whole new worlds based around short stories and poems intended for a younger audience; Sapphire Stream, is an exciting fantasy story, which started life as a short rhyme about two dragons in a feud over the right to own a valley. The best part is, if you like any of the rhymes you hear in the books, and would like to read them to your children, you might just be able to. If they aren't already out, then it's likely they will be soon.

Unlike that of the average author, though, Gareth Jackson did not hone his craft through years of study. Nor did he read countless novels as a child. In fact, having dyslexia made it very difficult for him to truly appreciate the written word. From childhood onward, it was movies, television and games that fed his imagination and inspired him to think of his own stories. For a long time, though, these were simply ideas locked away in his subconscious. It took the right influences, the right people and the right experiences, for him to develop the skills and the confidence necessary to put pen to paper.

If you wish to enter worlds beyond all recognition of that which you believe to be real, and reel you so far in that you may never wish to come out, then you have chosen the right author to follow...
