BOB STEWART

Bob Stewart @CTO and @BobStewart is foremost a husband and father to nine, and is also a technologist and visionary turned parallel entrepreneur. Bob specializes in building high-tech, high scale, disruptive technology companies powered by 10Xer engineering teams that tackle the toughest problems first.

Thirty-plus years of experience in setting the technical and operational vision for every one of his projects has taught him that great companies start with having the best product; great systems are built by A++ people. Great products attract great prospects, and frictionless customer development with service to scale is what converts them into buyers and only then does their sense of belonging convert them to lifelong customers.

Bob is a RUSTy polyglot programmer who first started coding in 1978 and has become an early pioneer in blockchain utility protocol development. Bob attended the University of New England while still in High School before joining his father's book and magazine publishing company. Bob then founded Maine's first Apple VAR - Advanced Visual Communications, selling digital prepress systems before becoming an Apple Newton Pioneer Developer, leaving, and founding Maine Multimedia. Bob's first Internet company VRmedia, founded in 1994, led to his serving as Webmaster and then Technical Advisor Analyst and Internet CTO of Motorola's then $1B Internet & Networking Group. Bob left Motorola to join the hottest East-Coast Internet incubator CMGi where he first led development, then engineering and ultimately became CTO of the Media Metrix Top-25 Portal MyWay.com where he oversaw technical due-diligence including integration of AltaVista and aquisition of Elon Musk's first company Zip2. Bob left the dot com one point zero era to then join CyberMedica, a peer-reviewed infrastructure biopharma acceleration platform which he owns to this day. Bob later joined John Sculley's Orwellian big-data background screening concern Verified Person as their CTO before joining and serving as CTO of EMC's Global Security Solutions Group where he worked primarily on military and intelligence systems. This experience then led Bob to join ultrasound biometric identity sensor innovator Sonavation first as Chief Product Officer, and subsequently Chief Operating Officer before finally elected to the Board of Directors. Mr. Stewart currently serves a Board Member and as the CTO Pro-bono for the Alliance for Clinical Research Excellence and Safety (ACRES). Recently, Bob served as CTO for blockchain voting platform Votem before founding stealthy blockchain protocol developer EXOCHAIN.
