Ronaldo was a double major in Biology and Fine Arts from Drew University in Madison, New Jersey and obtained his medical degree from Angeles University Foundation, Angeles City, Philippines. He finished his Internal Medicine Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NYC and Pulmonary Critical Care Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC.
He has had academic appointments at Tufts School of Medicine and Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. He has worked at Garnet Health and currently with the Department of Critical Care in Hackensack Meridian University Medical Center. His research interests include post-transplant critical care, anoxic encephalopathy, interstitial lung disease, and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
