Devorah Esther Ivel Colón is an author, documentary filmmaker, cultural storyteller, and content creator whose work illuminates the hidden histories of the Puerto Rican and Sephardic diasporas. Born in Brooklyn to a family shaped by silence, survival, and centuries of unspoken memory, she has dedicated her life to reclaiming the stories that empire tried to erase.

Her creative portfolio spans books, docuseries, and digital storytelling. Her autobiographical debut, The Last Anusah, began as an investigative docuseries and later evolved into a memoir chronicling her journey that led to the discovery of her family's hidden Jewish identity, preserved for generations in the mountains of Puerto Rico.

Devorah is also the author of The Watchmen Trilogy, an epic historical fiction series inspired by the underground resistance movements that rose against the Spanish Empire and the Inquisition.
