Claudio Morelli is an educational leader, consultant, and writer. For over forty years, Claudio has activated his servant heart to teach, mentor and influence individuals, school districts, organizations and communities. He has worked in Canada, China and in Central East Africa. In the second half of his life, Claudio believes that it is his responsibility to continue to use his God-given gifts to serve. He advises and encourages all elders to march boldly in faith and not shy away from their commission to influence, inspire and lead all generations. Following a successful career as a teacher and educational leader for thirty-five years, Claudio retired as a Superintendent of Schools in Burnaby, British Columbia. However, Claudio has switched his purpose from serving in the public education system to now serving as an educational consultant and mentor for the Wellspring Foundation for Education. For seven years, Claudio has served faithfully in Rwanda helping and supporting leaders in a country continuing to transform following the tragedy of the 1994 Rwandan Genocide when close to a million people died. Claudio's mission in Rwanda inspired him to write his first book, Learning and Leading in the Land of a Thousand Hills. The book describes how Claudio's unexpected leadership journey to Rwanda brought about tremendous discovery as he has interacted with the resilient and faithful Rwandan people. Claudio's experiences have impacted and influenced his transformation as a servant leader, educator and writer. By highlighting his leadership experiences, Claudio hopes to inspire and encourage others who decide to venture out of their comfort zones and faithfully respond when God calls them to lead. You can read more and connect with Claudio by following him on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and by reading his blog, Leadership is Heart.
