Barbara Leary

Barbara Leary is an award-winning children’s book author, writer and poet whose work has been featured in anthologies, newspapers, magazines, and on public radio. Her children’s book, *The Climbing Tree,* won First Place in the Writer’s Digest Self-Published Book Awards in the category of Early Readers / Picture Books. She is a university writing professor, teaching graduate-level writing and communication.
