I am Meg McNamara, novelist, Francophile, and adopted mom to a golden retriever named Lucy. My day job is for an arts organization, where inspiration is a daily perk.

I am also CeCe deLuc, romantic writer and author of "Love Aix", "I See France" and the recently released "Skye: A Heart in the Heather".

My Dad, also a writer, mentioned in one of his newspaper columns that I had written a story about the theft of the Crown Jewels when I was 7 or 8 years old.

That story's long gone but Dad was amused enough about my penchant for drama to quote me in that article ---

'the Queen was so mad you could fry an egg on her!', was my first re-tweet -- if you will.

Well, Dad knew something about me that day more than 40+ years ago, and that was that I am a writer -- and a daydreamer. I have written about daydreams, participated in daydreams and encouraged daydreams.

I am also the author of "Little Noelle's Christmas Wish", a book for children about the Eiffel Tower as the world's biggest Christmas Tree.
