Having written Coaching and Trauma, in 'Daughters:How to Untangle Yourself from Your Mother' I have now written about the difficult relationships some daughters have with their mothers. Writing this book for Daughters involved a deep dive into myself and my relationship with my mother, although it is not a memoir. I wanted to give voice to the daughters who have difficult, challening, and painful relationships with their mothers while also connecting with my own inner experience.

I have had a full career in Executive Coaching, Psychotherapy, Leadership and Organisational Change, education and training, and teaching, having started out as a nurse. I am part of Sophie Hannah's great Dream Author programme and also participate in Buddhist based, Insight Meditation silent retreats at Gaia House in south Devon. I live in East Devon, just up from the sea. I am an avid reader, moving easily between a range of fiction genres and non-fiction. I love having a pile of books ready to read.
