Since I was young, I've been fascinated by history and it was a passion that took me to read Modern History at the University of Oxford. Now I write fast moving, historical fiction with an emotional heart that is firmly rooted in real history. If you're looking for great characters and great stories I hope you'll give one of my books a try.

My current focus is the Second World War, an era that has always fascinated me. With the plethora of books, films and studies available, the topic is endlessly varied and endlessly interesting. From the joy and horror of combat, through to the home front, tales of espionage and the mass social change it prompted, the war will continue to inspire authors like myself to write about their passion.
