Priya Jagan

Priya Jagan is the pen name for Mumbai based author, Priya Balasubramanian. She is an investor having previously worked in India and abroad in various investment banks. Her writings reflect her experiences and interests. She is married and has an eight-year-old son.

As a child, the nightly routine of never sleeping without a story from her grandfather instilled a lifelong passion for great stories. Her pen name is a homage to her grandfather K Jagannathan, who believed she would be a writer one day. She believes that one can never be lonely if there is still a good book left to read.
